Koolen Industries Solar has appointed Sandra van der Hulst as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She starts immediately and will expand the organization further.

“We have grown rapidly in the past year through organic growth as well as strategic acquisitions. This has created the need for a committed and strong CEO who will help us realize the shared ambitions of all the companies within our organization,” said Alfred Breggeman, Chairman of the Board, Koolen Industries Solar.

Van der Hulst takes over from Breggeman, who will focus on strategy, acquisitions, the creation of new opportunities and the roll-out of the organization in Europe.

“Sandra’s management skills are impressive, especially her ability to handle complex and fast-changing organisations. She is the obvious choice for this challenge. I look forward to working with her as I focus on long-term opportunities for the business,” said Breggeman.

During the past seven years, van der Hulst was CEO of Eigenhuis Groep where she was in charge of ongoing operations, the development and integration of new cross-sector collaborative business models, social innovations and change processes within various sectors.

“I look forward to carry on Alfred and his team’s impressive work. Koolen Industries Solar’s passionate team and innovative solutions have prepared us for the next step, which will be rapid growth. I will build on this confidence and enthusiasm to ensure we can work as a team to make solar energy accessible to everyone everywhere,” said van der Hulst.

In this phase of this rapid growing company, Koolen Industries is delighted to welcome a CEO who will be able to further strengthen the team and develop the operational structure, said Kees Koolen, Chairman and CEO, Koolen Industries.
